ABOUT ME

Mary Lisa Bobotas

​

I began my legal career as an Assistant State Attorney in Ft. Lauderdale, trying 40 jury trials and hundreds of non-jury cases, before moving into civil and commercial litigation.

​

I went on to serve as outside general counsel and, later, Senior Vice President of Litigation and Legal Process for a major South Florida bank — first Mellon United, then Sabadell United, and ultimately Iberiabank — where I managed institutional litigation across the bank's entire Southeast U.S. footprint.

​​

​That combination of courtroom experience and in-house perspective gives me a rare vantage point as a mediator: I've sat on both sides of the table that I now help others navigate.
